Psychedelic Foundations

A 3-Week Introductory Group Integrating Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy & Internal Family Systems (IFS)

There are often parts of us carrying pain, protection, fear, self-criticism, or emotional burdens that developed over time in response to life experiences. While these patterns may once have helped us survive, they can also leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unable to move forward in the ways we desire.

Psychedelic Foundations is a professionally guided group program designed to help participants begin exploring these inner experiences through the combined support of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy.

This introductory program offers a structured and supportive opportunity to deepen self-awareness, strengthen inner compassion, and explore healing in a safe therapeutic environment alongside others engaged in similar work.

At Reunion Psychedelic Therapy, we believe meaningful psychedelic work is not simply about symptom reduction or altered states alone. Long-lasting healing often emerges through intentional preparation, emotional safety, skilled therapeutic support, and the ability to relate differently to ourselves and our inner world.

This program was also intentionally created to reduce barriers to accessing high-quality psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy by offering a more accessible group-based format.

An IFS-Informed Approach to Psychedelic Healing

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-informed therapeutic model that views the mind as made up of different “parts” — protective parts, wounded parts, critical parts, striving parts, and many others — all attempting to help us in their own ways.

Within expanded states of consciousness, participants may be able to approach these inner experiences with greater curiosity, compassion, clarity, and emotional openness.

Rather than fighting against difficult emotions or internal patterns, this program encourages participants to develop a more connected and compassionate relationship with themselves.

The integration of IFS and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy can support:

  • deeper self-understanding,

  • emotional unburdening,

  • increased self-compassion,

  • nervous system regulation,

  • insight into long-standing patterns,

  • and greater internal connection.

Healing in Community

Group work offers a unique opportunity to experience healing alongside others in an environment rooted in safety, authenticity, and shared humanity.

Participants move through the process together while being supported by experienced clinicians and a carefully structured therapeutic container. Many individuals find that witnessing both their own experience and the experiences of others helps reduce shame, increase connection, and foster a deeper sense of belonging.

Psychedelic Foundations

Healing often begins with becoming curious about the parts of ourselves we have learned to avoid, suppress, or protect.

Psychedelic Foundations offers an opportunity to explore that process within a safe, compassionate, and professionally supported therapeutic community.
